Satisfaction

I went to MAC today expecting to drop a ton on products, but as I paced back and forth from counter to counter I realized, "Damn, I am bored". So I am not buying anymore permanant collection eye shadows or blushes. I am getting two more Paint Pots (Constructivist and Mosscape) and then I'm calling it a day. There are still a lot of MAC Pro blushes that I want, a few pigments that I am on the fence about, and MAC Pro eye shadows/pigments that I have my eyes on, but for the most part, I'm done. And it feels good. Now I can just focus my attention on LE Collections and various Sephora brands. There are still some Urban Decay and NARS products on my mind. It may take till August or September before I can purchase all of the MAC that I want from the Pro collection, and I will probably pick up a lip gloss, lip stick, lip pencil, or eye pencil from time to time, but the overwhelming majority of my MAC non-necessary necessities are already bought and paid for. Basically, if it's not wowing me, I'm not buying it. No more, "I'll take ALL of the Mineralize Eye Shadows!" or "Well, I don't have this color or a color like it..." So what! If it's not a color you would actually get some use out of, then why bother. I am sure I am preaching to the choir. Sermon over. Amen. We'll be meeting in the fellowship hall for refreshments.

Oh my goodness! I feel the same way. I just purchased three more shadows from the permanent line and I have no desire to get anything else from the permanent line. Except foundations and concealers, but that don't count.

I personally think sometimes, why does MAC even have a permanent line when they come out with collections every week with colors similar to the permanent line anyway?

Oh well, I'm sticking to the LE collections like you.

What are some future collections that you are excited about?

Hey. It is so interesting. I felt like you read my mind. I don't trust myself at the store so I am planning to shop online on June 16th. I was building up my cart and I removed most of the items today. I mean I have so many pinks-plums from the permanent line, I don't need anymore.
Do you have indianwood paintpot? I might add it because paintpots are my new love!!

You will love constructivist!! I loove it!
So far in my cart I have mosscape,Patina and midimauve (which I might remove because it reminds me a bit of back del rio)...

I want to be able to have more NARS products than my 2 blushes. Anyways, I am glad I am not the only feeling satisfied :)

@ nicky - I am looking forward to Sonic Chic (Mineralize Blushes) and Electroflash (Mineralize Eye Shadows), and then Cult of Cherry in the Fall. Don't you jut love that name!

@ Nywele - I just bought Indianwood today. It is really similar to Rubensque but I like Indianwood better. If I had it to do over again, I would have gotten IW and not Rubensque. Oh well.

Well, you know me. I got my eyes on all things blushes. I really don't feel like I ever need to purchase another eyeshadow again. And lip glosses over $10 ain't lookin' so hot anymore either. LE....but original ones are up my alley too.

@ fabu-less beauty - I sure did. My MAC store was out of a few things so I think I am going to order online on Monday as well.

oops, i just received rubenesque...maybe i should exchange it for indianwood....
How do you use it? as a highlighter under the brow bone or as a base?

@ Nywele - both, but more as a base for highlighters and an all-over base.
